Your Leadership Abilities

“When you cease to dream you cease to live.” —Malcolm S. Forbes

The Challenges of Maximizing Your Leadership Abilities

Chuck Swindoll said, “Leadership is not optional. It is the ingredient essential to the success of any organization. Take away leadership and confusion replaces vision.”

In contemplating the concept of Leadership we need to consider the distance between where we are and where we would like to be. We call this our “want to grow factor!” The greater the distance between where we are and where we want to be, the higher our natural motivation to grow in any given area.

Areas for you to consider GROWING in:

  • Intellectually
  • Physically
  • Spiritually
  • Socially
  • Financially

We need to consider each of these major areas in 1 – 3 – 5 year increments. Where you desire to be in five years in any one of those areas of growth – you need to be well into the process in three years. At that time you can do any midstream corrections you need. Start today towards having your dreams underway for one year from today.

NO ONE is expected to be a 100% perfect leader at all points. We all have “strong points” and “growth points.” The more open you can be with yourself and others, the more effectively you can strengthen your “Growth Points.”
